The Global Product Development & Operational Excellence (GPD & OPS) organization, within GCP, is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. 
• The GCP Analytics COE (GCPA) is part of the GPD & OPS organization. It is the analytical engine that powers profitable business growth through consultative and innovative solutions across GCP. 
• The listed job is an exciting opportunity for supporting the Global Product Development & Operational Excellence organization and be a part of the Data Testing team. 
• This team is responsible for performing parallel testing and validating the data in the upcoming global data-mart against the existing legacy systems in place. 
• It is an extensive and ongoing exercise where the data of various critical business metrics is being fed into the new system in a gradual manner. 
• The team is expected to understand in depth the complex business rules by collaborating with the key stakeholders and perform the validations as and when required.

Responsibilities : 

• Participating in regular discussions with stakeholders to gather the objectives and business requirements
• Understanding the architectural design, schema and flow of data from the source to various destinations 
• Translating the business requirements into technical specifications by writing efficient SQL statements to pull out meaning information from the upcoming data-mart 
• Conducting rigorous data matching exercise and apply business validation rules to identify data gaps between existing platforms and the new warehouse being built
• Highlighting the findings to stakeholders and partnering with them to resolve the concerns 
• Implementing processes to drive data governance and implement quality controls –Create and maintain SOP documentation for all process specific tasks 

Qualifications : 

• Bachelors’ degree required, preferably B.E./ B.Tech from a reputed institute/university 
• Proven expertise in handling large sets of data and exposure to data management across multiple applications and systems
• Proven experience in managing large scale testing projects
• Strong SQL query writing ability
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and partnering skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment with minimal error
• Should be a good team player
• Strong organization skills and project management skills
• Ability to leverage technology to solve for reporting needs - Advanced Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Should be comfortable with shift timings- 03:30pm-11:30pm (shift is subject to change as per business needs)
